Extension - Edinburgh

Tiny Temple were commissioned to produce Deep charred Scottish oak for an amazing extension in Edinburgh. The Scottish Oak was sourced from a sawmill from Loch Awe and brought back to be kiln dried at our sawmill. Once it was taken down to the correct moisture content, it was moulded with our 6 head planer moulder and charred deeply.

The next step was to factory coat with two coats of Teknos paint to stabilise the char layer. The battens were face fixed onto black painted counter battens.
